JIM DVORSKY
SENIOR TECHNICAL FELLOW
Jim Dvorsky is Senior Technical Fellow for Nikola Labs. He leads R&D with three decades of experience as a design engineer. Before joining Nikola in 2016, he spent 30 years at the Battelle Memorial Institute. He specialized in medical devices, and developed a system that detects cancer in children and adults. Battelle named him 2006 Inventor of the Year.
When he isn’t working, Jim volunteers as a mentor to previously incarcerated men through the Kairos Prison Ministry. He also volunteers with youth as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America in Plain City, and has prepared adult leaders by teaching the Blackfoot course for 17 years.
