Nikola Labs Invited to Participate in Plug and Play Japan
Program will lead to valuable business opportunities across Asia
COLUMBUS, Ohio, November 14, 2017
Wireless power pioneer Nikola Labs will connect with major Asian companies, venture capital firms, angel investors and government officials in an intensive three-month Plug and Play accelerator in Tokyo, Japan.
The accelerator, which provides free co-working space for the duration of the three-month program, is an effective forum for startup companies worldwide that are accepted for participation to build the necessary corporate and government relationships in Asia that can be difficult to secure otherwise. Along with business development, Nikola Labs will participate in meet-ups, executive networking, and deal flow sessions. Additionally, the Columbus, Ohio- based wireless power start-up will gain connections among Plug and Play’s partners that will make obtaining the resources to go to market in Japan, Asia and beyond smoother and easier.
“At Nikola Labs, we are out to woo the world to wireless power. We are aware that’s a big goal. Plug and Play Japan provides a multifaceted technology ecosystem to expose us to the valuable business opportunities throughout Asia we will need to achieve it,” said Will Zell, CEO, Nikola Labs. “With the Asian market as focused on IoT as the North American, it makes relationship building there key.”
Plug and Play, a global innovation platform founded in 2006, is the world's largest technology accelerator and investor. Since its inception, startup companies in the Plug and Play community have successfully raised more than $6 billion in financing with Plug and Play itself investing in over 100 companies a year.
