CEO Will Zell, of wireless power pioneer Nikola Labs, will be pitching to win a $100,000 investment in his company from former CEO of AOL Steve Case during the Columbus stop along the prestigious Rise of the Rest Startup Bus tour October 13 from 3-6pm at the Columbus Metropolitan Library.

Nikola Labs, a pioneer in wireless power, has been selected to take part in the Smart City Accelerator sponsored by AEP and Columbus NCT Ventures. Startups were selected based on their potential impact to Columbus’ Smart City initiative and will receive both in-kind support and a $100,000 investment. 

Nikola Labs, a pioneer in wireless power, recently closed a $2 million investment round which brings the total investment to date to over $4 million and will catapult the early stage company from technology development into initial commercial sales, as well as help it grow its talent base.

Nikola Labs, a pioneer in wireless power, was named as a Top 25 IoT Solution Provider by CIO Applications magazine.

Nikola Labs, a pioneering far-field wireless power company, recently closed on additional investment, bringing the total capital raised to over $2 million. The new funds will be used to augment Nikola Labs’ engineering team and step up business development efforts ahead of releasing INDRA, a revolutionary wireless power receiving chip developed with Skyworks Solutions and Texas Instruments, which will be production ready later this year.

Nikola Labs will be demonstrating applications of their advantaged wireless power technology at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 5-8. The Nikola Labs demos will be on display at Texas Instruments’ booth.
